Barry Bish, born 1961 – Woolwich, SE London.
Barry is a self taught artist who first exhibited in Liz Blackmans Outside-In Gallery on Melrose Ave La in the early 90’s.
His colourful textured naive work has been seen in L.A, Chicago, San Francisco. Since returning to London in 2000 he has exhibited as a guest artist at the stuckists first exhibition, and more recently at the Ben Oakley Gallery in Greenwich and the No Format Gallery in Woolwich.
His inspiration is drawn from old tattoo’s, Teddy Boys, flying saucers, fairgrounds and sailing the Woolwich Ferry.
